Fiji: Partnering with the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation – Electrifying Vio Village

The Fijian government was awarded a grant from the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (LDF) to bring solar energy to 10 of Fiji’s most remote villages. The first village to get electricity was VIO.  This video tells the story of this exciting event from the villagers, as well as government officials who played a key role in making this life-transforming development happen.
